I do hold a broadband connection. What is this hub thingy for and do I requirement it?
I bought a brand new HP adjectives surrounded by one printer. It come near a "usb 2.0 hub".?
AS the other two gentlemen have answered, it is a device to spawn provision for more USB devices to be hooked up to ur PC. It will be useful once ur points own been used up for assorted devices ( e.g. printer, cam, mouse, scanner ).
When u need to connect another device ( utter a digital cam to transfer the snaps to ur PC, consequently u find no more USB points available, then do not hysterics !! Just hook up the USB hub to one of the points, it will provide u 4 connections provisions to extend ur USB device pluggings.
Hope ur question is clarified !!
A USB hub is sort of an extention cord for more usb devices.
You can own a stand-alone hub, a hub on a monitor, or in your luggage printer. You don't have to use it, but it might be handy.
Has nil to do with internet.
A USB Hub is vitally a place to plug in USB devices. they turn one USB port into oodles.
Here are some examples:

As you can see they come in tons shapes and sizes. yours is integrated into the printer. It has zilch to do with broadband.
