my printer said its adeskjet 3915 but the article said it is a deskjet 3900 what should i do?
I have aprinter and im confussed?
The 3915 is just a submodel inwardly the broad 3900 family. You'll see similar behavior from other HP printers, such as the 4200dtn showing 4200 on a exam page.

Your printer is an HP Deskjet 3915, but belongs to the 3900 series. there will be with the sole purpose small variations between the unbroken 3900 series wether its a 3915 or a 3930 etc, but will all crash down into the 3900 series and use the same instruction instruction manual
Nothing, HP writes one manual and one driver for a series of printers. I assure you everything is correct. It is simply the information for the entire series.
