Everytime I put the cd within.The wizard does not pop up and I dont know how to download the software

u must have blocked the autorun phase of ur CD or DVD drive. try access the CD from expolerer or if still u cant do that and the disc is defective u can get a free disc hp call 1-800-474-6836 is the printer is foreign. best solution is to download the software from hp.com

check the system requirements on the software (should be on the box it came in) - to see if it's compatible next to your computer and/or operating system (windows - 98, 2000, xp, vista etc)
