Don't download a page to print it. Choose print from the browser menu. IE and Firefox in a minute have a print preview button that can be used to resize page to fit on a printer page.



If you have already downloaded a page within TEXT format you can used any word processor program to print it. If you have downloaded a page within HTML format double click on it and it will open contained by the browser where you can print it as stated within the first paragraph.
I assume from your question that if you newly try to print the page, you get a bunch of extra page, or the important stuff doesn't get hold of printed? Or both? I have a couple of suggestions ...



1) Go final to the website where you found that page, and see if they own a link to a printer friendly magazine of the page. Not every site does, but it's worth taking a look.



2) Highlight (select with the mouse) the stuff you want to print from that page, later copy & paste it into a word processor such as Word. Then print it from inside the word processor. That passageway, you'll have more control over what in reality gets printed and you'll be greatly less potential to waste dissertation.
