I can't obtain printer to spot composition surrounded by tray 1. Any suggestions?

not sure what generous of printer you have, but some printers enjoy a refresh button, try that.
Where I work we own several flavors of the HP2420. However all are network. From the Web embedded server on the printer you can alter settings for respectively tray.



HP2420 should have printer properties for respectively Tray (Ltr,Legal,...) ensure the paper is the correct type.
