I cannot print from IBM. I hav a HP 1018 printer, works fine beside clone but not near a brand spanking new IBM.?

The printer works fine beside the clone in a grating environment shared through a workgroup. when I changed the printer to an IBM machine, it shows connected and online but cannot print. Sometimes give a USB error. Iam sure I have installed the drivers as required. adjectives cabbling are correct.

I cannot print from IBM. I hav a HP 1018 printer, works fine beside clone but not near a brand spanking new IBM.?

In the main computer where on earth the printer is installed, just run to the Printer folder inside of Control Panel. Right click your All in one printer and next Click Sharing. Click on Share this printer in the glass that opens and later hit OK.

Get the IP address of your computer, go to Start, Run, type cmd enter, type ipconfig enter. Write down where on earth it says Local Area Connection IP address: numbers beside dots. After this, move to the computer without a printer.

In the other computer, travel to Start, Run, type \\ipaddress\ where ipaddress are the numbers of the 1st computer. When a window opens asking for a user signature and password input those credentials from your computer. If it doesn't ask it will be even better. Now with this command you will unstop a folder and the printer will be there. Double click the printer and presently the 2nd computer will be able to use it.

BTW, both computers own to be in indistinguishable WORKGROUP. to check this: Right click My Computer icon on the desktop, turn to properties, Computer name tab. There you can see the WORKGROUP autograph and even change it.
Some printers will not work if you try to connect them locally and on the make friends at the same time, try connecting it directly to the IBM alone and see what happen
